A GROWING DEMAND

Demand for these services has increased steadily over the past few years as more and more D/HH men search for viable ways to improve their lives. In order for this project to be sustainable and offer future training weekends, a grant-writing committee was formed to garner support to fund its operations and financial aid. Christopher Brawner is presently our grant writer works on addressing this long-term sustainability of this venue beyond 2012.

We fund-raised approximately a total of $12,000.00 from different sources to fund for this training weekend in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2010 respectively.

The rationale behind this fundraising is that on average, Deaf/HH individuals and families earn and have significantly less money than hearing people have. One of the biggest obstacles to a Deaf/HH man attending a NWTA is not being able to afford it.

Meanwhile, as SILENT WARRIORS continue this unique work, it needs to fundraise around $5000.00 to operate and send Deaf/HH men to attend this training next year in June 2012. $4500.00 will go to replenish the SW financial aid and $500.00 will go to SW operations and office maintenance.

Will you consider a donation to make a difference in the lives of Deaf/HH men?

It is our hope that you will consider making a fiscal contribution to support this endeavor.

If you choose to give, please go to:

2) Click "Financial" tab on left side.

Your financial support will make a difference in the lives of Deaf/HH men---not just for this June 2012 weekend but for years to come. You have our gratitude.

Sincerely,
